Designing a Life
of
Passion and Possibility
She was inspired to write her first book, Rosey...the Imperfect Angel after the birth of her daughter, Julianne. The fairy tale for children with special needs was published and immediately caught the attention of news media throughout the country. Sandy and her daughter appeared on numerous national talk shows, news and radio programs, in newspaper interviews as well as speaking engagements nationwide.
Her second fairy tale, Chester, the Imperfect All-Star, was also published and both books went on to be used by hospitals, clinics, and special needs organizations.
In addition to writing, Sandy worked in the television industry as an actress and also worked with her late husband, David Peckinpah who was the executive producer and writer of several television series, including Beauty and the Beast (CBS), Silk Stalkings and Sliders, and numerous television movies.
Sandy loves designing jewelry and this creative process is what she does in her "down time." She loves the beauty it brings to her friends and clients.
Sandy returns to her passion for writing in her collaboration with her life-long friend, Paula McChesney, to create and write Passion By Design. Sandy focuses on projects that make a difference in people's lives. Her fairy tales brought enlightenment, hope, and joy; her jewelry brings beauty and confidence; and Passion By Design is one more opportunity to make a difference in people's lives.
